In this day and age of remakes, reboots, and endless prequels and sequels, it comes as no surprise that the cult classic, “Blade Runner” is getting a sequel.
Yes, to be released on October 2017, “Blade Runner 2049” sees a new young LAPD Officer K played by Ryan Gosling who goes out to uncover a long-buried secret that would throw the already struggling soceity into pandemonium. The plot configures into Officer K’s discovery that Harrison Ford’s Rick Deckard, former LAPD Blade Runner is still alive after he had gone missing for 30 years.
