The Trailer To “Star Trek: Discovery” Is Finally Out!
The first trailer to the CBS All Access series, “Star Trek: Discovery” features a lot of new exciting elements. New characters, a new ship, and apparently, a new primary focus had been teased, leading fans to speculate on the various conflicts that may ensue.
A released photo of the series showed stars Michelle Yeoh of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” fame and Sonequa Martin-Green of the “Walking Dead” in what appear to be desert garb.
Stars, James Frain, Anthony Rapp and Doug James are also said to be part of the new addition to the franchise. Although maintaining his role as an executive producer, Bryan Fuller had stepped down last year from being a showrunner.
Details regarding the over-arching story of “Star Trek: Discovery” have yet to be made public. What is only known is that the events witin the show takes place 10 years before the original series. The exact release date is also still under wraps.
