Stephen Amell Channels “The Green Arrow” In “American Ninja Warrior”
We all know that Stephen Amell is as athletic as his onscreen, comic book alter ego Oliver Queen; who hasn’t seen his muscle-crushing, stamina-challenging Salmon Ladder routine in the Arrow bunker?
And that is no mere stunt. In American Ninja Warrior, the 36-year old actor proved that he had the same superhero athleticism off-screen.
As a part of NBC’s Red Nose Day broadcast, Amell skillfully managed to complete a six-obstacle course created for charity. Yes, to answer that burning question in your head, he DID do his Salmon Ladder routine. He did this already at the end of the obstacles, making him spent. But nevertheless, Amell, Green Arrow himself, did not disappoint! Watch him as he finishes the first set of obstacles here:
