Seth McFarlane Helms New Fox Sci-Fi Comedy, “The Orville”
In case you missed it, (not that it had not already gained considerable mileage in social media) we are bringing you the official trailer to Fox’s “The Orville”.
A comedy-drama science fiction, “The Orville” follows the adventures of the mid-level exploratory vessel, U.S.S Orville. Set in the 25th Century, Earth is now a part of a Planetary Union. The planet is now known as an expansive, highly-developed and peaceful civilization with a fleet of over 3,000 ships.
Created by Producer/Actor Seth McFarlane, “The Orville” would be making use of the usual conventions of the sci-fi space genre while throwing in that good ol’ All-American humor. The series would be dealing with the team’s exploration of the wonders and the dangers of space without ripping each other apart.
Set to premiere in Fox’s 2017-2018 line-up, “The Orville” stars Seth McFarlane, Adrienne Palicki, Scott Grimes, Penny Johnson Jerald, Peter Macon, Halston Sage, and featuring the voice of comedian Norm MacDonald a gelatinous alien being.
