Photos and Teaser Trailers to Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower” Released
Oh Hollywood, how you manage to constantly wow us with news of comic/novel/video game movie adaptations we just don’t know. Sure, projects such as the interpretation of various Marvel properties is a wide success, but there are those that really broke our hearts (yeah, we’re looking at you DC).
Alas, we are once again caught in a frenzy with the recent teases to Stephen King’s Sci-Fi series movie adaptation, “The Dark Tower”.
A series of books that had received a much-deserved praise and following, “The Dark Tower” follows “The Gunslinger” known as Deschain as he travels a derelict Mid-World for the mystical edifice known as The Dark Tower, a portal to the time-space continuum at the threat of a great undoing.
This week, several posters had been released teasing the upcoming film which sees Edris Elba portraying Mid-World’s last gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey as the elusive figure only referred to as the “Man In Black”. Teaser trailers also made its way online, whetting the fans’ appetites even more.
These look really promising. So yeah, Hollywood, we’re going to keep the faith.
Directed by Nikolaj Arcel under Columbia Pictures, “The Dark Tower” hits theaters on August 4th 2017.
