Patty Jenkins To Be Confirmed for “Wonder Woman 2”; Negotiates Salary To Equal Male Directors
Following the success of this year’s “Wonder Woman”, news from the grapevine are quick to claim that a second one is apparent. And that could not have been far from the truth.
Amassing an estimate of 700 Million worldwide, “Wonder Woman 2” had been confirmed at the San Diego Comic-Con last month. However, it had not been made clear if Patty Jenkins shall be returning at the director’s seat. What was confirmed was a mere writing of the movie’s treatment.
But recent news now state that Jenkins is close to making the deal with Warner Bros’ executives. While initial reports have it that the director had been fighting for a a salary increase that will equal that of her male contemporaries.
Just this Thursday, the negotiations seem to be looking good from Jenkins’ perspective.
