Part 5 to “Injustice 2″‘s “Shattered Alliances” Features Super-Villain, Braniac
Completing the trailers to “Shattered Alliances”, an “Injustice 2” series of trailers, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment had just come out with the fifth trailer that focuses on an old and well-known Superman super-villain.
Brainiac, the Man of Steel’s nemesis known for shrinking and bottling the Kryptonian City of Kandor, takes center stage on the new trailer. In the game’s narrative, the alien fiend is credited to be the one responsible for the entire conflict.
The game, “Injustice 2” picks up where “Injustice: Gods Among Us” left off, with Batman alongside other heroes trying to rebuild the society after being left in shambles from Superman’s Regime. This proves to be difficult a task as the followers of the fallen Kryptonian struggle against these efforts in their desire to restore the former dictatorship.
Things get even more complicated with Brainiac’s machinations that puts the entire existence of Earth at the brink of destruction.
Injustice 2 boasts of probably the most expansive roster of DC characters ever found in a video game. Players may choose classic superheroes such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman and pit them against the likes of Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd, and Deadshot. Included within the terrains of battle players can choose from are Metropolis, Gotham City, Atlantis among others.
Available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, “Injustice 2” hits stands on May 16th.
