Netflix’s “Bright” Gets Full Trailer
The full trailer for Netflix’s original fantasy film, “Bright” is finally out.
Shown at the San Diego Comic-Con, the trailer featured its lead star, Will Smith who plays LAPD officer Scott Ward. In “Bright”, we are brought into modern-day Los Angeles where fairies, orcs and elves co-exist with humans.
But while the characters belong to the fantastic, the issues that are tackled within the series are very real and far from being removed from the woes of contemporary America.
David Ayer who took the reins at directing had been quoted saying that the project was more “challenging and liberating” as it bore a social commentary on stratification. The “Suicide Squad” director added that it is a “fantastic” way to imbue social consciousness without having to ram ideologies down people’s throats.

Written by Max Landis, Netflix’s “Bright” stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Edgar Ramirez, and Lucy Fry. The movie is set to be released on December 22nd.
