John Wick 3 Is Happening; Stahelski Still Onboard
With the success of the first 2 installments of the “John Wick” franchise, it is no surprise that a third one is already underway.
Director Chad Stahelski confirmed that the script for “John Wick 3” is already being drafted. In an interview he stated that the script would be finished by early 2018 if not by this year’s end.
John Wick had been forced back into the life of a hired gun in the second installment. He came to the aid of an ambitious former associate who was hell-bent on seizing the reins to the international assassins’ guild. By the end of the film, John is seen as a target of other assassins. This set up the next unpredictable premise of the third movie.
While Stahelski claimed to be deep in involvement with the film, he did not confirm if he’d be directing it.
