Fans See A Different Arnold Schwarzenegger With “Aftermath” Trailer
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a man of his word. He is indeed back. But with a rather surprising project.
Unlike the movies in his CV, Schwarzenegger’s recent starrer, “Aftermath” follows two strangers whose live become entangled after a plane crash.
True to any Arnold Schwarzenegger flick, there is an explosion, but it’s not quite the one fans would be expecting wherein he’d be coming unscathed with a ripped shirt to highlight his Mr. Olympia pecs.
No. This explosion will leave his heart in ruins, and as with any tough guy whose emotions are tossed to the dogs, Schwarzenegger sees no outlet but rage.
In “Aftermath” an air traffic controller’s negligence leads to the death of Schwarzenegger’s wife and family, motivating him to go after the controller in true Shakespearean fashion.
And yes, we’re not kidding when we say Darren Aronofsky took the reigns as the movie’s director. Of repute with films such as “Requiem for a Dream” and “Black Swan”, it’s surprising to see that the surnames, Aronofsky and Schwarzenegger would be seen in the same bill, let alone the same sentence.
