Assassin’s Creed T.V. Series Confirmed For Netflix
While the Michael Fassbender flick received mixed reviews from both plain, movie-goers and hardcore gamers, Ubisoft is reported to be pushing through with an “Assassin’s Creed” series.
Mr. Aymar Azaiza, “Assassin’s Creed” head of content, while choosing not to divulge any series specifics did confirm that the project is oushing through; saying in a statement that they would be taking their time so as to produce a show worthy of note.
In 2016, Mr. Yves Guillemot, CEO to Ubisoft, had admitted that the company had been in conversations with Netflix regarding one of its titles. However, nothing conclusive had been disclosed, let alone reached, back then.
Now that the project is reported to be taking off, the show reported to be produced by Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Ubisoft’s film and television arm. This had been the division responsible for the 2016 film and the “Rabbids Invasion” series on Nickelodeon.
A sequel to Fassbender’s “Assassin’s Creed” is also currently in the works under the Ubisoft Motion Pictures.
